Future Footballers ("the club", "we", "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of our players, parents/guardians, coaches and website visitors.

What we collect: Depending on your relationship with the club, we may collect: player and parent/guardian names, dates of birth, addresses, email addresses and phone numbers; emergency contact and relevant medical/allergy information; payment and fee records; DBS check information for coaches and volunteers; photographs and video taken at training or matches; and website usage data via cookies (see our Cookie Policy).

Why we collect it: We use this information to manage club and team administration, process registrations and payments, ensure player welfare and safety, communicate club and match updates, meet our safeguarding and Safer Recruitment obligations under The FA, and comply with legal or regulatory requirements.

Children's data: Where a player is under 18, information is provided and consented to by a parent or legal guardian. We take extra care to limit children's personal data to what is necessary and never share it for marketing purposes.

Who we share it with: We may share data with The FA and relevant County FA, Pitchero (our website and membership platform provider), and, where legally required, safeguarding authorities such as the Police, Children's Social Care or the NSPCC. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

How long we keep it: We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes above, or as required by The FA, safeguarding guidance, or UK law, after which it is securely deleted.

Data controller: Future Footballers is the data controller for personal data collected through club registration, membership administration, and this website.

Lawful basis for processing: We process personal data on the basis of consent (e.g. for photography, marketing communications), contract (e.g. membership and fee administration), and legal obligation (e.g. safeguarding and Safer Recruitment requirements).

Categories of data handled: Player and family contact details; date of birth and age-group information; medical and emergency contact information; payment records; DBS enhanced check outcomes for coaches and volunteers; and photographs/video from club activities.

Data storage and security: Personal data is stored securely within the Pitchero platform and, where applicable, other password-protected club systems. Access is limited to committee members, coaches and volunteers who need it to carry out their role. Paper records, where used, are kept in a secure location.

DBS and safer recruitment records: Information relating to DBS checks is handled in strict confidence in line with the DBS Code of Practice and is only shared with those who need to know, such as the Club Welfare Officer and relevant committee members.

Data retention: We retain data only as long as necessary for club administration, safeguarding record-keeping, or legal requirements, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.

Data breaches: In the event of a data breach that poses a risk to individuals, we will act promptly to contain it, assess the risk, and notify affected individuals and the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) where required.

Subject access requests: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you or your child by contacting us via our Contact page. We will respond within one month, as required by law.

Third-party processors: Our website and membership management is provided by Pitchero, who process data on our behalf under their own privacy and data protection terms.

Welcome to the Future Footballers Football Club website. By accessing this site, registering as a member, or booking a trial, you agree to the terms below.

About us: Future Footballers operates a player development football club for young players aged 6-12, based in South London. Our website is provided using the Pitchero sports club premium platform.

Membership and registration: Places in our squads (U7, U8, U10, U12) are offered at the club's discretion. A parent or legal guardian must complete registration on behalf of any player under 18. Information provided during registration must be accurate and kept up to date.

Fees and payments: Membership and match fees are payable as set out at the time of registration or via our Pitchero payment tools. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or agreed by the club committee on a case-by-case basis.

Code of conduct: Players, parents, guardians and spectators are expected to behave respectfully towards coaches, officials, opponents and other members at all times, in line with The FA Respect code. The club may suspend or terminate membership for serious or repeated breaches of conduct.

Website use: Content on this site is for general information about the club. You must not misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or use it to post unlawful, offensive or infringing material.

Intellectual property: All club branding, text, images and content on this site remain the property of Future Footballers CIC or its licensors, unless otherwise stated.

Liability: While we take reasonable care in running our activities, the club cannot accept liability for any loss, injury or damage arising from participation in training, matches or use of this website, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

Changes: We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site or membership after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
