If this is your family’s first season in grassroots football, fixtures can feel like a mystery at first — here’s the short version, plus what’s happening right now.

Fixtures are set by the Tandridge Youth League and published on our Pitchero site and app — that’s the place to check first, every week.

“Home” and “away” just mean which team’s pitch we’re playing on that week — we’ll always confirm the ground and kick-off time in advance.

If a match is postponed (weather is the usual culprit), we’ll let you know via the Pitchero app and WhatsApp as soon as we hear.

This season’s schedule, explained
Right now our teams are playing “Fusion” or "Ladder" games — five fixtures the league uses to work out the right division for every team this season.

You may see some opponents that look tougher or easier than usual over these few weeks; that’s by design, not a mistake, and it’s how the league makes sure everyone ends up in fair, competitive divisions for the rest of the year.

• Once Fusion finishes, the full league programme starts on Sunday 18th October and runs through October and November.

• December is mostly cup football, with fixtures currently planned for the 6th, 13th and 20th.

• League football then resumes in January, running alongside cup competitions into February.

This applies league-wide across our age groups, so you’ll see the same pattern whichever squad your child plays for.
